I’ve no idea why I know that, but today my blog turns one: let’s eat some cake!

This cake/pastry is called tompouce. It doesn’t exist in Italy, but I don’t know about the other countries.

When I was little my mom and I used to go and buy pastries that cannon be found in Italy, whenever we came to Holland. She always chose the Moorkop (another delicious thing you should try if you’d ever visit Holland). I, on the other hand, was always hesitant: Moorkop or Tompuche?I was attracted by the chocolate of the moorkop and by the pink glaze on top of the tompouce. Whenever I see one of these two in a shop I just go back in time.

Have a sweet weekend!
